What is Hygge? 

Hygge (pronounced HEU-gah) is a Danish word that describes a feeling or mood that comes from taking genuine pleasure in making ordinary, every day things more meaningful, beautiful or special. While there’s not a direct English translation for hygge, many words can be used to describe the concept; cosiness, charm, happiness, security, familiarity, comfort, reassurance, kinship, and living simply.

Essentially, hygge means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. We want to create an environment at Hygge Hair Co. that makes our clientele feel relaxed and well attended to while recieving a unique hairstyle. Hygge is our way of giving an ordinary service a special context and taking time to make it extraordinary!
